    I’m going to try your suggested method. I REACHED A TECH SUPPORT PERSON (***INDIA CALL CENTER***) WHO WAS “MOST WILLING TO ASSIST ME WITH THE PROBLEM FOR $29.95”.
    I responded, “how very kind of you, my Symantec/Norton has 182 days of usage on it and YOU WANT TO CHARGE ME FOR ADDITONAL INADEQUATE SOFTWARD DOWNLOADS. No thank you and PLEASE HAVE A VERY PLEASANT DAY” …as they ALWAYS SAY IN INDIA CALL CENTERS. Fed up!
